Martha M. Eastman

Martha Marie Eastman is a competitor. She will fight for clients and their families while remaining professional and compassionate. She served as the Chair for the national nursing home litigation group in the American Association for Justice (AAJ).

Ms. Eastman is a frequent speaker and teacher on nursing home abuse, having lectured in Kentucky, California, Washington, Indiana, Virginia, and Florida. During her esteemed trial career, she obtained over $7 million in verdicts.

She has been an invited speaker at the National Judicial College and the AAJ's annual national convention. After clerking for the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals, she worked at Cravath, Swaine and Moore in New York City before focusing her practice on medical negligence and civil rights.

An elite athlete, Ms. Eastman finished the Ironman World Championship in 1995 and 1997, finishing 1st among all women lawyers in the world in 1997, and represented the US National Team at the World Championships in 1997 and 1999.
