Joseph M. Longmeyer was born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky. After graduating from Saint Xavier High School, he attended Vanderbilt University where he graduated with a degree in comparative literature and a minor in political science.
Joseph went to the Saint Louis University School of Law from Vanderbilt. In his second year at SLU, Joseph earned a staff position in the St. Louis University Law Journal and served as an editor in his third year. Joseph graduated from SLU Law in 2001 and was admitted to practice law in Kentucky.
Since departing law school, he has practiced with his father, John Longmeyer. He has acquired years of experience litigating personal injury cases, product liability claims, slip and fall claims, worker’s compensation, wills, trusts, and estates. He is AV Preeminent Rated by Martindale-Hubbell.
